Injury Recovery and Prevention Specialist

Patient at the physiotherapy sessionEveryday is an athletic event, full of moving your body from one area to the next, this position to that, trying to balance a million muscles efficiently. Sometimes we don’t always use the most successful patterns of movement or recruit the right muscles. We compensate because things need to get done regardless if they are done the best way. This causes the weakest link in the chain to get overworked, perhaps causing symptoms or pain of some sort. The symptoms may not even seem related to the actual problem. Many times, we try to work through pain.

What if there was a way to identify future problem areas and potentially work to avoid them? Sounds similar to brushing your teeth to avoid cavities or taking vitamins to stay healthy. This is “health insurance” at its truest value.
